My American Dream

My dream universities.

University of Virginia & University of Chicago.

A dream which i really hope will come true. Though at one point in my life, i was really demotivated to even think about going to the states to study. However, now everything has change. When i was in form 3, i was already having this crazy idea of transferring over to the states to continue my education. But sadly, my family wasn't that well off. So, the plan failed. Then when i was in form 5, my mom totally cut off my option to go to US to study. She said, we cant afford it, why not go to Aus or NZ instead? From that moment onwards, i threw this dream away, and started a new one. My focus was all about Aus and NZ. However, a miracle struck. I was back on track with the old dream. Was this meant to be? Was it fate? The impossible happened. My American Dream started once again. And now, I'm very sure that this is the path i want to take. Thank god i chose to come to nilai and obtain my free education. =) No regrets. I'm starting to really like this place.[ i still HATE the BUGS though, i don't think i will ever like them.]. Friends here are great as well, ain't selfish, instead very helpful. It wasn't as what i expected it to be. [ seriously, we must never ever judge people whom we don't know. cause they might turn out to be great people after all. =)]

The day started out boring, thanks to my CSC test 1 and assignment. Wasn't in the mood to do anything, so well, i thought, gona stay home for the whole afternoon nerding away. But then, olympics was on, so knowing me, tv comes first. =) So, tv it was then msn. When i look at the time, it was already 4 something, and the worst part was, i didnt even start studying yet. So well, mood when from low to hell. Until Han told me CSC test will be the week after next! I was like WEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!..Coudnt thank Han enough. My mood immediately went up up up, was really looking forward to meeting up with my friends that night.

Then the "potong" part came,

Everyone was BUSY. Plus, i didn't plan to drive for that night but ended up having to again. But thank god in the end my buddy was there to listen to my "crap", i know i can be really annoying at times. =P. So after bla bla bla out, felt alot better. Thank you buddy. The night ended out great. Had a big smile on my face for some reason ^^. And the answer is NO to any assumptions you people make cause seriously this is something none of you know. =)

Updates about Penang

Loving Penang! Love my friends! Love the food!

Finally, after 4 long weeks, able to see all my beloved friends again, not all yet actually. But soon will. Penang havent change at all. The food is still so great, friends are still almost the same, and my parents havent change abit..lol..=)

So my first day in Penang, spend time shopping with mum. =) Then had dinner with my fanily at a seafood restaurant in Tanjung Tokong. Crabs!!..yum. Later that night, had supper with christ, ping, and von. Was quite surprise when i saw the guys coming too, but was glad to see them. They havent change abit. Seriously they havent, especially greg. Trying to prank me and ping with his peteranswer.com crap. Bla.

The next day, went to Inti Penang to find out the truth about the Peter crap. And true enough, it was all a made up story. As if la we will believe Inti is haunted by some military guy.=.=. Though i give them credits for creating that website, that was genius. Thunbs up. The rest of the day was kind of the same as the previous day, shopping for presents, dinner with friend, supper with friends again. =)

Today was really a treat for my ever hungry tummy.

Had Dim Sum and Roti Canai for breakfast,

Pizza Hut for lunch, and Pan Mee for dinner!

Finally a change from the usual mix rice, chicken rice, fried rice etc.

Love all Mr.Lim's jokes. I got to give it to him. Seriously, they are entertaining. Though he gave us his usual " if you don't pass Mock SAT, you can say bye bye to ivy league U" lecture. But i like the last part, he said " but if you fail to pass mock, there is always other opportunities". For me, getting into ivy league U aint everything. As what my english lecturer Ms.Teoh says,"its not where you study, but what you make out of your education". Although its true a graduate from an ivy league U will be more marketable in the future, but i still believe there are chances for everyone else. Anyway, in this world, nothing is permanent. We just got to fight towards our goals and enjoy college life!. Thats what my mom says too, "just enjoy your college life".

College Life As It Is To Date

Exams, Assignments, Test..what else?

Anything but leisure is invading my world right now..seriously, it is.

For starters, am having Sociology test this coming Friday..the worst part is it only carries 5% but we have to cover a total of 4 freaking long chapters! damm..[ but thank god socio is quite interesting..=)..The I and the Me..bla]

The following Monday, will be having Calculus test which carries 25%..i better not screw it up..

Last but not least, SAT-Mock..seriously this is one stupid exam which we are all required to sit for..apparently if we dont make the cut off point..we wont be able to sit for the real SAT..which means our dreams of going to any of the top 8 ivy-ivy leagues U will be crush ( honestly, i don't really care, cause those arent my dream universities and plus i've chosen my path) . Furthermore...its because of this mock exam that i cant go back on the 15th aug! damm again! could have gone back with my uncle which would not only safe me a hell lot of money but time too..but sadly..=(

Anyone in Penang haven't watch Dark Knight yet? Cause im dying to watch it..=S..

Owh boy, guess its a stupid ques anyway, who woudnt have. Crap.

My cousin, Ashley intro me this song. Its really a great song. But there are more reasons to why i specifically find it so meaningful. It made me recall the past. It was exaclty how i was feeling then, and occasionally at times now. But be rest assure, it dont stire up any "emo" feelings in me. As i've said in my earlier post, my emo periods ended the moment i open a new chapter in my life. Though i wanna move on, and i know eventually i fully will, but i don't plan to forget everything that has happened.
