Invisible

Let me start off with some happy events.

First of all, music presentation is finally over!
After sleepless nights, and hours spent preparing for this day, in just 30 minutes, poof, finish. =D
Got some constructive critism (which I accpeted because I still have much to learn - mind you, I discarded half of it the moment the following event happened), and all was well. Untill................................

Okay, here comes the "not-so-happy" part. Till now, she still don't have a clue who am I nor what my name is. Even after the whole presentation, she had to ask, "and What was the girl's name?". Major WTF! Honestly, i felt insulted. It's like I'm invisible. Come on, there's only 1 group presenting, and only 2 presenters. How hard is it to store my "unimportant" name in your short term memory. Notice the word , "SHORT-TERM MEMORY". I don't think that's too much to ask right? -.-
How would one feel after spending hours and hours preparing the slides, practicing the melody, but to be forgotten instantly. PISS.
And I'm sure you had both our names on the paper while you were evaluating us, but I was merely invisible. Maybe I screwed up, but to hell with it. As a lecturer, the lease you could do is address a student properly. When you freaking ask me " What's that girl's name?", I nearly walk out of the room. But being me, i despise being rude and disrespectful. So, i of course, I stayed.

To top it all of, the whole time I was presenting, she didn't even look at me. Instead, she smiled to the guy who was singing with me.

That's not the end of the story, later, she called "Lim Suleen". Anyone knows "Lim Suleen". WTF. I just told you my name like what 5 minutes ago, and now, boom, I'm unknown again. Why don't you just adress me as anonymous. It'll make all our lives easier. Oh, but wait. The funny part was when, i raise my hand. You look at me like I was a complete random stranger. Another WTF moment for me. I had to say, "I'm HERE". -.- What? Not only is my name unknown to you, even my face. I was totally speechless then.

I normally accept advise and constructive criticism from lecturers, because they know what's best. And there's a few whom I especially look up too. But you, it's a different story. How am I supposed to learn or receive advise from someone whom I've already lost faith in.

There's 3 things I discovered today:

1. I can't sing. I'm proud to be a Camerata though.
2. I suck in presentation. (And i thought it went well)
3. I do not make an impression on people.

Someday, someday...
