Random Ramblings

Back from the dead.

Sorry for the late updates peeps.

My life is that BORING . Imagine, my only source of entertainment is a lappie and story books. So, go figure. Okay, maybe I'm exaggerating a little. Weekends are actually fun. Badminton and karaoke sessions are always a plus for me. * Big smiles *.

Pardon me readers, just a warning in advance, random ramblings and a whole lot of crap ahead which would probably make no sense at all.

Firstly, Jodi Picoult - Change Of Heart. Definitely a MUST read! As much as Im tempted to write a whole post about this book, I shall not, Kid might kill me for the spoilers. Though technically she can't. Ooops kid. Hope you don't see this post anytime soon. =p

Whats next? Owh yes, Assignments and Test. Just 1 week into the course and we are already bombarded with all sorts of exams. Worst of all its next week. Just right before CNY. =.= It definitely kills the whole Chinese New Year mood. Plus, I might not reach home in time to "persuade" my grandma for an extra 50 bucks - packing ang pow packets. What about helping mom put up new year decorations which is like the essence of CNY. Thanks to ulu land, I'm stuck here, with bad food and lizards till the 23rd. =S

Never ever watch Beverly Hills Chihuahua! Seriously, as kid says, its one bimbotic show. I was practically falling asleep. Talking dogs running around in "tutus". They even have a personal stylish to dress up their "beloved" dogs. =.=

I guess thats all for now. Will update soon. Till then.....

Happy New Year, 2009

Farewell and goodbye 2008.

Flashing back memories of the past year, I realize it was actually a great year for me.

I'm ready to bring those happy moments along with me and embark on a new journey this new year, 2009. Will it be that great, fun, full of drama? I guess I'm about to find out. But one things for sure, it will definitely be different. I'm finally ready to leave the past where it belong, where it should have been all along. Whats the point of clinging on to something which will only lead to despair and disappointment? Whats the point of caring about friends who suddenly disappeared from your life and are no more than strangers to u? Blood is definitely thicker than water. But I do have friends I adore and love ( in a friendly way, before anyone jumps to the wrong conclusion ), and that's enough for me. Besides, whats the point of having friends who ain't erm TRUE? Pointless I would say. As i said, its a new year now, which also means new resolutions and experiences. Its a year to work hard ( less partying definitely), meet new people, play new games, participate in new activities and also to strengthen the bond with family and friends. =)

Okay, enough said about that. I shall start rambling about my New Year's Eve celebration. It started out early, me and mom went to Gurney to do some shopping. I end up getting a new wallet which was like RM85.40 -.-. Thank god for the vouchers, I ended up paying RM35.40 for it. =) Next bought mascara and a product called Dr. Feel Good from Benefit. Mom on the other hand bought 600 plus worth of skin care. @@. Crazy isn't it. She went into the shop without the intention of buying anything, in fact she was just accompanying me to buy my stuff, but.............

After shopping, had to rush back home to change and get ready for the night. Had BBQ and steamboat with Christ and her cousins. Then off we headed for UPR. As i expected, the crowd was horrible, pack like sardines. People were literally pushing each other in Mois. Met up with more friends there. It was nice seeing them though. Which made the whole situation much better. But it still wasn't as much fun compared to the other night. I guess clubbing twice just 3 days apart isn't the best idea. Definitely had enough of clubbing, so i shall stick with my 5 months plan from now on.

Pictures will be up soon if i can get my hand on those. So enjoy these first: ( btw, this are pics from the last clubbing trip )

Clubbing After 5 Months

Ever since I went to Ulu Land , I was practically cut off from all sorts of entertainment. Ok, maybe I'm exaggerating a little. So of course, clubs were no more a hang out spot i would go. Though i had breaks in between the 5 months, i didn't really gave it much thought to start hitting the clubs again. I kinda grew out of it. Maybe its due to all those frequent club trips I've gone earlier. But after 5 months living without it, and knowing that I wouldn't have the chance to go after another 5 long months or so, I grab the chance as soon as Christ ask me to go. =D

So, MOIS it was!

I'm so gona contradict myself from my previous post. =.=
I was rambling about how much i dislike clubs , people drunk, swearing, smoking etc. But yesterday was one awesome night for me. I don't know about the others, but it was for me though. I honestly didn't expect it to be that fun because for one, everyone wasn't going besides me and Christ plus kelvin and his friends whom are unknown to me.( They turn out to be really great people, friendly and nice. ) Later in the night, met more friends, That's when everything started to fall into place. The rest was history. And i literally mean HISTORY. Only one small part was missing though to complete this almost perfect night. But i guess that's life, nothings perfect. =)

5 more months to my next clubbing trip. Till then.....

Jakarta and Christmas Eve

Jakarta
All the fun had been overshadowed by the lost of my phone. Damn. Shall not elaborate further.

Christmas Eve
Well, it was alright. But i must say, most of my time was spend driving, to be more specific, sitting in the car due to the jam. Went to crown prince beach to meet up with von, grace, irene and cy. Then headed to upr in slippers. -.- Was later kick out of Mois for trying to sneak in. -.- Wasnt my idea to even step in. I thought everyone would be hanging outside at the bars or something, but everyone ended up in clubs. Honestly, after 5 months without clubbing, the scene at upr didnt appeal to me at all. People were drunk, fighting, swearing, smoking etc . The usual clubbing activities. I really wonder how could I have been so eager to go last time. Insaf. Insaf. About 2.30, decided to leave. Wasnt much to do there anyway. So home it was. Home sweet home. =)

Twlight

Twlight.
The first romance book that caught my attention and captured my heart.
I was extremely dissapointed by the movie at first. I had imagine the whole show to be different, for starters, eric wasnt supposed to be an Asian, but its good though at least they include minorities into the show. But the big let down was Bella. I love her in other shows, dont get me wrong, shes a great actress, but she didnt really fit the part as Bella. In my opinion, Bella is suppose to be more romantic and fragile. In the book, shes always fighting back her tears, pushing herself to Edward, nearly pass out several times when Edward holds her or kisses her, and she was suppose to be feeling sick and dizzy when Edward carried her on his back and ran through the forest. I love Rob Pattinson as Edward though. He was just so charming and hot in the show. Two thumbs up for him. =)
The second time rewatching Twlight was awesome! I went into the theatre without any high hopes, cleared my mind of all my imagination on this show and just let it flow. And it turn out superb! But i still coudnt accept Kristen as Bella. Kristen no doubt is one hot chic and extremely beautiful, but to me, she still lack that important assence to play Bella. Maybe if she tone down on the whole tough and cool act, then it'll be better. Thats just my opinion though. So to anyone who is a big fan of Kristen, please dont get offended.
Rob Pattinson - Edward Cullen
He was actually criticize by fans at first for being cast as Edward. Apparently, many didn't find him "hot" and "charming" enough to be Edward. But he definitely manage to pull it off in the show. What more can i say, his perfect. Actually Edward is. Sadly, his just a fictional character.

Kristen Stewart - Bella

As you can see, she's absolutely gorgeous. Unique in her own way. Definitely an amazing actress with great personal style except for her role in this movie. Sorry Kristen.

Taylor Laurtner - Jacab Black

His the werewolve. I adore him alot. He has the most amazing smile. E-news reported that he will not be sign to play Jacob in Moonlight. Apparently to them, he has a babyface. =.= Well, they are blind. I don't think anyone can be more suited for Jacob's part then Taylor. Look at his eyebrows and eyes! They are so wolve like. So, lets pray they dont replace him.

The kissing scene

The steamy kissing scene was cut out from the movie!!!!!!!! Our stupid local cinema cut off the best part of the movie. I was so looking forward to this scene and Potong! It was gone. sigh. She wasn't even wearing a bikini or anything. =.=

Overall is was a great movie. Definitely a show i woudnt mind watching over and over again. =D

Random

Crap. I've lost interest to continue my previous post. Maybe some other time.

Right now. Im dying to rewatch Twilight. Though to me it was a dissapointment - cause - I imagine Bella's character to be a little more emotional than what is potrayed. But before i make any judgements about her and give my verdict about the show, im gona rewatch it. After all, Edward Cullen ( Rob Pattinson) was absolutely charming in the show and he does dazzle people with those eyes of his.
